Sizing Guide

Finding the right fit. Every Fifth Studio timepiece is built to 20mm lug width with interchangeable straps — three signature cases, designed to wear across a range of wrists.

How to measure your wrist.

Three steps and a tape measure. If you don’t have one, use a strip of paper and lay it flat against a ruler.

01 — Wrap

Wrap snugly.

Wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist where you'd normally wear your watch — just below the wrist bone.

02 — Check

Leave room to breathe.

The tape should sit snug, but not tight. You should be able to slip one finger underneath.

03 — Measure

Read the number.

Note the measurement in millimetres. This is the number to use when choosing your case and adjusting your strap.

What’s your size?

Enter your wrist measurement. We’ll suggest the case that will wear best.

mm

Typical range: 140–210mm. Most adult wrists fall between 150 and 190mm.

Changing your strap.

Every Fifth Studio watch is built with a 20mm lug width, making strap changes straightforward. Most straps use one of two systems:

  1. Turn the watch over and place it face down on a soft cloth.
  2. Locate the small metal tab on the underside of the strap, near where it meets the lug.
  3. Use your fingernail to slide the tab inward, compressing the spring bar.
  4. Gently lift the strap free from the lugs.
  5. To attach a new strap, insert one end of the spring bar into the lug hole, then slide the tab inward to lower the opposite end into place.
  6. Wiggle lightly to confirm the strap is fully seated before wearing.
  1. Place the watch face down on a soft cloth.
  2. Insert the forked end of your spring bar tool between the strap and the lug.
  3. Compress the shoulder of the spring bar inward until it clears the lug hole.
  4. Repeat on the other side if needed and remove the strap.
  5. To install the new strap, seat one end of the spring bar in the lug hole and compress the other end into place using the tool.
  6. Check that both shoulders are engaged properly before wearing.

Adjusting your strap.

Once the right case is on your wrist, a clean fit matters just as much. Leather straps are adjusted through the buckle holes; the Jubilee bracelet is resized by removing or adding links.

  1. Fasten the buckle using the hole that feels secure without digging into the wrist.
  2. Tuck the strap tail through the keepers so it sits flat.
  3. If the fit is between holes, wear it slightly snug at first — the strap will ease with use.
  1. Identify the removable links marked by directional arrows on the inside of the bracelet.
  2. Use the bracelet tool to push the pin out in the direction of the arrow.
  3. Remove the desired number of links evenly from both sides of the clasp.
  4. Reconnect the bracelet and reinsert the pin securely.
  5. Try the watch on and repeat if necessary until the bracelet sits close without pinching.

Care & cleaning.

Treat a Fifth Studio well and it will outlast you. A little routine maintenance goes a long way.

Case & bracelet

Warm soap. Soft brush.

Use lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft toothbrush to clean between links or around the case. Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.

Leather straps

Keep it dry.

Avoid water, perfume and prolonged direct sun. If the strap gets wet, blot it gently and leave it to dry naturally away from heat.

Sapphire crystal

Microfibre only.

A clean microfibre cloth is all you need for fingerprints or dust. Avoid abrasive cloths or household cleaners.

Water resistance

5 ATM — splash-safe.

Suitable for daily wear and incidental moisture, but not swimming or showering. Ensure the crown is pushed fully in at all times.
